I am a memoirist. I write about food, twinship, intercultural and interracial relationships and motherhood. I studied creative nonfiction in the University of Southern California's Master of Professional Writing program. My writing has appeared in publications such as Epicurious, TASTE, The Counter, Cuisine Noir, Stained Page Newsletter, Eaten, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and Harvard Review Online. I currently teach writing and food memoir at Otis College of Art & Design and am a 2022-2023 Legacy Network Advisee for the James Beard Foundation.
