I am a memoirist. I write about food, twinship, intercultural and interracial relationships and motherhood. I studied creative nonfiction in the University of Southern California's Master of Professional Writing program. My writing has appeared in Epicurious, TASTE, The Counter, Stained Page Newsletter, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Harvard Review Online, Entropy, Artillery, Hippocampus Books and The Journal of Compressed Creative Arts. I currently teach writing at Otis College of Art & Design and lead an online food memoir writing workshop for the Creative Nonfiction Foundation.
